3D Reality Model of Daugavpils City Industrial Zones has been prepared as part of the project “Transformations from Slum to Chic” (Trans-form) Nr. LLI-386, which is funded by the European Union under the Interreg V-A Latvia – Lithuania Programme 2014-2020.
The industrial zone of Cherepovo is the second largest industrial zone in Daugavpils with a total area of 88 ha. The area has good access to roads. Three railway lines intersect the area; the fourth one will be built to connect the new pellet plant with the railway.

Northern industrial zone with its total area of 245 hectares is the largest industrial zone in Daugavpils. Due to the well-developed infrastructure – large electric capacities (up to 30 MW), a gas pipeline, and the central heating station located nearby – it is possible to create enterprises with high energy consumption here. There are railway lines connected to Daugavpils marshalling yard, situated on the railway line Daugavpils – St. Petersburg, a good access to the area with the exit on primary roads. Electricity, gas, water, and sewer connection locations are nearby.

The total area of the fortress warehouse area is 53 ha. The zone is situated near to major roads (A6), and the railway approaches to some buildings. There are a lot of buildings appropriate for machine storage (garages), especially for large-size machines. The area is appropriate for transport agencies, storage facilities, road maintenance and repair companies, construction companies, etc.

The industrial territory Krizhi about 19ha large. The production area is located on the outskirts of the city near the ring road (A6, A13). The territory has all required infrastructure. The territory is easily accessible by road; it is located next to the A6 highway. The railway line is nearby as well.
